The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and market iron and steel. The Group produces both basic and special steels for domestic construction, engineering, power, railway, automotive and defence industries and for sale in export markets. The Group's steel plants are located at Bhilai, Bokaro and Salem and iron ore mines are located at Dalli, Kiriburu, Megahataburu and Bolani. It has distribution network across the country with 65 warehouses and network of dealers in all the districts of India.
