Steakhouse Partners, Inc. owns and operates 23 full-service steakhouse restaurants located in seven states. The Company's restaurants operate under the brand names of Hungry Hunter, Hunter Steakhouse, Mountain Jack’s and Carvers. The Company’s restaurants specialize in complete steak and prime rib meals, and also offer fresh fish and other lunch and dinner dishes. All of Steakhouse Partners' restaurants are positioned as destination restaurants. Destination restaurants are restaurants situated as the primary destination of the Company's clientele, rather than a destination or activity ancillary to another activity, such as shopping or sight seeing. Steakhouse Partners hand-cuts its steaks in-house from whole loins of beef for freshness and taste. Prime rib is the Company's principal product and is the basis for its merchandising commitment to The Best Prime Rib in Town. The prime rib, which is served in a herb crust, is slow roasted for 18 hours to enhance its flavor and tenderness.
