It operates in four segments: Print and new media, which includes publication, printing and distribution of newspapers and magazines and advertising in print and electronic media; Broadcasting; Event, exhibition, interior and thematic and Television channel. In November 2012, SPH Interactive International Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of the Company acquired the remaining 35% interest in 701Sou (Hong Kong) Pte Limited. In April 2013, the Company acquired Eighth Power Sdn Bhd. In April 2013, the Company acquired Axis Genesis Sdn Bhd. In May 2013, Star Publications (Malaysia) Bhd acquired I.Star Events Sdn Bhd.
