The Group's principal activity is that of a diversified builder of single-family homes. These single-family homes are designed to attract wide range of move-up homebuyers. The Group operates in two segments: Home Building and Financial Services. Home Building segment builds single-family attached and detached homes. Financial Services segment provides mortgage financing and title services to the homebuyers. The Group has built homes for more than 106,000 families during its 43-year history. It renders these services through subsidiaries, joint ventures and family lending services, Westfield Home Mortgage, Home First Funding, Universal Land Title of South Florida and SPH Title. It operates in 16 markets and 11 states in the country throughout the metropolitan areas of California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, the Carolinas and Nevada.
