| The Group's principal activity is designing, developing and marketing instrumentation and controls. It is organised into three sectors. Material Analysis provides advanced analytical systems used in characterizing a wide variety of materials, from bulk powders to nanomaterials and delicate macromolecules. Test and Measurement provides sound and vibration measurement products designed to help reduce noise emissions and improve safety and environmental impact. In-line Instrumentation provides a range of diameter gauging and process measurement products. These solutions can either be supplied as stand-alone products or integrated packages ranging from entry level configurable systems to high-end SCADA systems. Industrial Controls provides barcode scanning and decoding technology. Applications include Electronics, telecoms, clinical diagnostic analysers, pharmaceuticals, automated tape libraries, document handling, process control tracking, food, laundry and banking. |
