Sparekassen Himmerland A/S is a Denmark-based regional bank primarily active within the Himmerland region of the Jutland peninsula. The Bank’s primary activity is the supply of banking products and services to both private and corporate customers. Its products and services offering includes savings accounts for adults and children, pension funds, credit cards, currency exchange, loans, life and property insurance as well as payment services, shares, bonds and asset management services. The Bank also provides access to the NetBank online banking facility. It carries out its operations through its main office in Aars and 16 regional branches. As of December 31, 2011, the Bank had three wholly owned subsidiaries, namely Ejendomsselskabet Himmerland A/S, Midtfjord Erhvervsejendomme ApS and Midtfjord Erhverv II ApS.
