The Group's principal activities are developing and operating care homes for the elderly and providing specialist services for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. It provides homes with a range of residential personal services and nursing care services for elderly people with physical frailties and differing forms of dementia. The Group operates through three brands - Southern Cross Healthcare, Ashbourne Senior Living and Active Care Partnerships. Both Southern Cross Healthcare and Ashbourne Senior Living provide care homes for the elderly. Active Care Partnerships provide specialist care for people with a number of different conditions in a variety of settings.
