The Group's principal activity is retailing automotive in the United States. It provides comprehensive services including sales of both new and used cars and light trucks, replacement parts, performance of vehicle maintenance, warranty and non-warranty repair services. It also arranges extended service contracts, financing insurance and other aftermarket products for its customers. As on 22-Feb-2008, the Group operated 169 dealership franchises at 144 locations representing 33 different brands of cars and light trucks and 34 collision repair centers in 15 states. During 2007, it acquired 10 franchises at four dealership locations and disposed of 12 franchises at eight dealership locations.
