The Group's principal activity is to provide software and services to the automobile insurance claims processing industry. It also provides products and services that complement its insurance claims processing software and services, including used vehicle validation and fraud detection software and services. The Group operates through two segments: Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Americas. Its insurance claims processing customers include insurance companies, collision repair facilities, independent assessors and automotive recyclers. As of 30-June-2009, it served over 72,000 customers. Its software and services can be organized into five general categories: estimating and workflow software, salvage and recycling software, business intelligence and consulting services, shared services and other. On 19-Dec-2008, it acquired HPI Ltd. In fiscal year 2009, the Group acquired US Universal Consulting Software GmbH and Inpart Services Ltda.
