The Group's principal activity is manufacturing of soda ash and chromium products. The Group is part of Sisecam Chemicals Group. It carries out its production activities at Soda and Kromsan plants in Mersin. The plants produce chemicals that are used as raw materials in more than 100 products in various industries. The Soda plant produces light and dense soda ash, refined sodium bicarbonate and sodium silicate to be used in the glass, detergent, paper, textile, food and animal feed sectors. The Kromsan plant is the main supplier of leather, metal plating and wood protection industries with such products as sodium dichromate, basic chromium sulfate, chromic acid and sodium sulfate. Kromsan plant also has coverage in the basic chromium sulfate market in Italy, through its partnership with a local distribution company, and in China, through the establishment of sales organizations and warehouses.
