The Company's principal activity is operating mines located in the mining district of Punta del Cobre located at Tierra Amarilla in the third region of Atacama. Its mining operations are involved in exploring mineral oxides and copper sulfides. Mineral oxides of copper are extracted in Planta Biocobre located in Copiapo and are distributed directly to markets in Europe, Asia, the United States of America and Latin America. Mineral sulfides of copper are extracted in Planta San Jose.
