| The Group's principal activity is to provide airline services through its wholly owned subsidiary SkyWest Airlines Inc. The Group offers scheduled passenger and air freight services with over 2,300 daily departures to 218 destinations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. It also provides customers handling services for ten other airlines with Delta Air Lines Inc in Salt Lake City and in United Airlines Inc in Los Angeles. The Group also operates in Salt Lake City, Dallas, Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Houston and Pacific Northwest. At 31-Dec-2008, its fleet consisted of 442 aircraft, of which 250 were in service with Delta, 162 were in service with United and 12 were in service with Midwest. |
