The Group's principal activities are to own, operate and provide programming services to television stations. The Group provides programming and operating services pursuant to local marketing agreements (LMAs) or provides sales services pursuant to outsourcing agreements to 58 television stations in 36 markets throughout the United States. The television stations of the Group are affiliated FOX (20 stations), MyNetworkTV (17 stations), ABC (9 stations), The CW (9 stations), CBS (2 stations) and NBC (1 station). Through it's wholly-owned subsidiary, Sinclair Ventures, the Group owns equity interests in Internet-related companies including G1440, an Internet development and integration company. The Group has an equity interest in and a strategic alliance with Acrodyne Communications Inc, a manufacturer of transmitters and other television broadcast equipment. In Feb-2008, the Group acquired KFXA-TV.
