Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and distribute switchgear items, electric motors and generators, switchboards, control boards, control systems and protection systems. The Group also manufactures x-ray equipment, railway signaling equipment, medical electronic diagnostic equipment, variable speed AC and DC drive systems and EPABX, EPAX and intercom and key telephone systems. The Group also provides services related to automation systems, railway and transport systems, power generating and transmission systems, medical engineering and telecommunications systems. On 25-May-2007, the Group acquired 76.9% stake in Siemens Building Technologies Private Ltd and on 07-Sep-2007, it acquired the remaining 26% equity stake in Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery Services Pvt. Ltd . It has discontinued its Information and Communication and Automotive divisions. |
