| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and sell chemical products serving a wide range of fields ranging from heavy industry to the electronic and computer industries. The operations are carried out through five segments: Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Electronics, Inorganic materials and Aluminium. The petrochemicals division deals with olefins, organic chemicals, synthetic resins and plastic products. The Electronics/information division deals with HDs, aluminum substrates, functional chemicals, ceramics raw materials and fine carbon. The Chemicals division deals with chemicals such as caustic soda and chlorine, gases and specialty chemicals. The Inorganic materials division deals with ceramics, carbons and metallic materials. The Aluminum/other division include aluminum ingots, sheets, foils, construction materials and engineering. |
