The Group's principal activity is to own and operate retail drug stores across Canada. It operates under the trade name of Life Brand, Quo and Everyday market, Bio-Life, Nativa and Easypix. The Group also provides value-added services such as the HealthWatch program, which offers patient counselling on medications and disease management. It also licenses its trademark to associates. As on 31-Dec-2008, the Group had 1,149 retail drug stores and 66 Home health care stores. These stores sell medical equipment and mobility and home-assist devices to institutional and retail customers.
