| The Group's principal activities are manufacturing and developing chemicals such as PVC, semiconductor wafer and silicon. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Organic/Inorganic chemicals; Electronics materials and Functional materials. The Organic/Inorganic chemicals division deals in polyvinylchloride (PVC), silicones, methanol chloromethanes, cellulose derivatives, caustic soda and silicon metal. The Electronics materials division deals in high-purity semiconductor silicon, organic materials for the electronics industry, and rare earth magnets for the electronics industry. The Functional materials and other division deals in synthetic quartz products, oxide single crystals, rare earths, rare earth magnets, export of technology and plants, export and import of goods, construction and plant engineering, information processing. |
