The Group's principal activities are to produce thermal coal, nickel, cobalt, oil and electricity. It operates in five segments: Metals, Coal, Oil and Gas, Power and Other. The Metals segment comprises of mining, processing and marketing of commodity nickel and cobalt and includes the production and sale of agricultural fertilizers. The Coal segment comprises the sale of coal primarily for use as fuel to generate electricity and for industrial energy. The Oil and Gas segment includes exploration and development of oil and gas. The Power segment provides electricity.
