Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activities are the production and sale of metallurgical products, and the provision of banking, finance and insurance services. The major activity is the production of hot and cold rolled steel sheets, roll-formed shapes, steel pipes and tubes, rolled sections, high quality steel, cast iron, a large group of coke products and by-products. The Group also manufactures steel wire, fastenings, steel rope, netting and other metalware. The banking segment provides banking and financial services, including financial and operational leasing. The Group's insurance segment provides property and medical insurance, and pension fund management services. In addition, the Group includes a number of other businesses, including agricultural producers, mass media and publishing companies, catering enterprises, an airport and an ice hockey club. |
