The Group's principal activities are to manufacture, design and distribute analog and mixed-signal semiconductors for commercial applications. The products are principally sold to customers in the communications, computer and industrial markets. It operates through two business segments: Standard Semiconductor Products and Rectifier, Assembly and Other Products. The Standard Semiconductor Products segment includes the power management, protection, test and measurement, advanced communications, wireless and sensing and human input device product lines. The Rectifier, Assembly and Other Products segment includes the Group's line of assembly and rectifier devices, which are the remaining products from its original founding as a supplier into the military and aerospace market. The customers are primarily original equipment manufacturers that produce and sell electronics. The Group has operations in the U.S, France, Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
