| The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and sell paper and reconstituted tobacco products to the tobacco industry. The products include cigarette, plug wrap and tipping papers, used to wrap various parts of a cigarette and reconstituted tobacco leaf. Commercial and industrial products include lightweight printing and writing papers, battery separator paper, drinking straw wrap, filter papers and other specialized papers. It operates in three segments: United States, France and Brazil. The United States segment supplies the major and smaller, cigarette manufacturers in North America, South America and Japan. French segment relies on exports to western Europe, Asia, eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Australia. Brazilian segment supplies in Latin and South American countries. It operates in 90 countries and currently operate 11 production locations worldwide, with mills in the United States, France, the Philippines, Indonesia and Brazil. |
