The Group' principal activity is to develop business units in the high-tech mechanical engineering sector. The Group operates through following strategic business units: Semiconductor and Textile Machinery. Textile Machinery is in yarn processing and precision winding, offering winding systems for a wide application. Semiconductor produces standard machines for finishing, testing, inspection, marking and taping of discrete, ICs, bare dies and LED's. The Group has operations in Europe, America and Asia. As of September 30, 2008, the 100% shareholding in Satisloh Holding AG was sold to the Essilor Group.
