The Group's principal activities are manufactures of escalators, elevators, moving walkways and rolling stock. The Group is also involved in the sale of PC and related services through it's interest in ALSO Holding AG which is engaged in the provision of information and communication technology and consumer electronics to the wholesale and logistics sector. The Elevator and Escalator division has 1,000 branches throughout the world and the ALSO division is active predominantly in Switzerland and Germany but expanding into Europe.
