| The Group's principal activities are in the field of improving and developing the industrial base in the Kingdom, especially, the petrochemical industries. The Group is also involved in providing the opportunity to the private sector to participate in other industries using the petrochemical industries. The Group has a 50% ownership in Saudi Chevron Phillips Co which produces Benzene, Cyclohexane and Motor Gasoline. It also has a 50% onwership in Jubail Chevron Phillips Co, which will produce Styrene and Propylene when it begins operations at the end of 2007. The Group operates in Saudi Arabia. |
