The Company's principal activity is to acquire develop and commercialize proprietary products for treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and disorder. Its products are immediate-release formulations of omeprazole, a widely prescribed proton pump inhibitor (PPI). The Company currently markets two dosage forms, ZEGERID (R) Capsules and ZEGERID Powder for Oral Suspension, both of which are indicated for the treatment of heartburn and other symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
