| The Group's principal activity is publishing of newspapers and magazines. The Group operates through five divisions: Sanoma, Sanoma Magazines, SWelcom, WSOY and Rautakirja. Sanoma division publishes newspaper and business information in both classic and on-line format. The Group also has free-ad publications called Keltainen Poressi and Palsta. Sanoma magazines division publishes magazines for readers from pre-school to senior citizens. SWelcom division is responsible for electronic media operations and development projects. WSOY division publishes books and calendars. This division also markets educational materials and specialist publications. Rautakirja division covers press distribution, convenience stores, bookshops, cinemas, restaurants and e-business. |
