| The Company's principal activity is to manufacture and marketing of textile goods. The Company has organized its business into strategic business units namely Blended and uniform fabrics, Home textile, Worsted fabrics and Total Wardrobe Solutions. Blended and Uniform fabrics division manufactures work wear polyester/viscose fabrics which are used by industries, hospitals, navy, school and offices, which are sold under the brand S. Kumars. Home Textile division produces Grey cotton sheeting fabric for domestic market and Cotton jacquard and Damask fabric used for home furnishing are exported. Worsted Fabric division manufactures wool-polyester blended and worsted fabrics under "Reid & Taylor" brand. Total Wardrobe Solution division manufactures ready to wear garments include shirts, trousers, casuals, ties for men segment. The brands of the company include S. Kumars, Reid & Taylor, Tamarind, which are sold through distribution network which has over 30,000 retailers. |
