| The Group's principal activity is to operate as an agro-industrial company holding majority stakes in tropical plantation businesses. The Group operates in five segments: palm products, rubber, tea, tropical fruits and plants and insurance. Under Palm, the Group produces crude palm oil and palm kernels. Under Rubber, the Group owns rubber plantations and produces rubber sheets. Under Tea, it owns tea estates and gardens. Under Tropical fruits, it cultivates bananas, guavas, mango, grapes, pineapples and citrus fruits. In addition, the Group also has an insurance business providing a wide range of insurance services and a real estate business with investments in Belgium and the United States. The Group's plantations are mainly based in Indonesia and Malaysia and its products are exported worldwide. The Group operates in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, Ivory Coast and Europe. |
