The Group's principal activity is to operate wholesale grocery stores in the United States. The Group operates in two segments: Retail food and Supply chain services. Retail food operations include extreme value food stores, regional price superstores and regional supermarkets. The Supply chain services reportable segment operates through wholesale distribution to independently owned retail food stores, mass merchants and other customers (collectively referred to as "independent retail customers") and logistics support services. Trade marks includes CUB FOODS, SAVE-A-LOT, SENTRY, FESTIVAL FOODS, COUNTY MARKET, IGA, FOODLAND and JUBILEE.
