Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The Group owns, manages, leases, acquires and repositions Class B office properties in Manhattan. The Group operates in two reportable segments: The Office Real Estate segment and Structured Finance Investments segment. The Group's portfolio also includes ownership interest in unconsolidated joint ventures, which owns seven commercial properties in Manhattan. The Group continues to manage three properties owned by third parties and affiliated companies and operates only in the domestic market. Real estate property operating expenses consist primarily of security, maintenance, utility costs, real estate taxes and ground rent expense. As on 31-Dec-2007, the Group owned 35 New York City office properties. |
