| The Group's principal activity is to conduct insurance business in accordance with Islamic Sharia'a principles. The Group operates under eight segments: Motor, Fire, Accident, Engineering, Marine, Transport, Health and Life. Under Motor segment, the Group provides insurance policies for motor vehicles. Under Fire segment, it provides insurance policies which cover loss resulting from fire. Under Accident segment, it provides insurance policies for loss due to accidents. Under Engineering segment, it provides insurance policies to cover losses to engineering instruments. Under Marine segment, it provides insurance schemes which cover loss to marine vehicles. The Group operates in Africa, Far East, Middle East, Turkey and Central Asia. |
