The Group's principal activities are the manufacture, distribution and sale of beverages. The Group operates through three segments: Lager, Soft drinks and Other. The Group's brands include Pilsner Urquell, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Miller Genuine Draft, Grolsch, Aguila, Castle, Miller Lite, Snow and Tyskie. On 17-June-2008, the Group acquired the Russian brewer LLC Vladpivo and on 4-July-2008, it completed the acquisition of a 99.84% interest in the Ukrainian brewer CJSC Sarmat. On 19-Mar-2009, the Group acquired the 50% interest in the Vietnamese brewing business, SABMiller Vietnam JV Company.
