| The Group's principal activity is to operate a chain of off-price retail apparel and home accessories stores. It provides branded apparel, accessories, footwear and home merchandise for the entire family between the ages of 18 and 54 at everyday savings of 20% to 60% from regular department and specialty store prices. Similar savings are provided on fragrances, items for the home, bed and bath merchandise and related accessories. As of 02-Feb-2008, the Group operated 890 stores, of which 838 are Ross Dress for Less(R) (Ross) locations in 27 states and Guam and 52 dd's DISCOUNTS(R) stores in 4 states. |
