| The Group's principal activity is providing power systems for use on land, at sea and in the air. It has 54,000 Rolls-Royce gas turbines in service with the manufacturing and service facilities located in 50 countries. The Group has a customer base comprising 600 airlines, 4,000 corporate and utility aircraft and helicopter operators, 160 armed forces and 2,000 marine customers. The Group's operations are carried out through its Civil Aerospace, Marine Defence Aerospace and Energy divisions. Civil Aerospace develops, manufactures, markets and sells commercial aero engines and aftermarket services. Marine develops, manufactures, markets and sells marine propulsion systems and aftermarket services. Defence Aerospace develops, manufactures, markets and sells military aero engines and aftermarket services. Energy develops, manufactures, markets and sells power systems for the offshore oil and gas industry, electrical power generation and aftermarket services. |
