| The Group's principal activity is the provision of banking services composed of four primary segments: Retail banking which principally handles individual customers' current accounts, deposits and providing loans, overdrafts, credit and debit card facilities and investment products; Corporate banking which handles corporate customers' current accounts, deposits and providing loans, overdrafts and other credit facilities and derivative products; and Treasury and investment which provides money market trading and treasury services as well as management of the Bank's investment portfolio. The Group was appointed as sole Saudi dealer for the new US$500 million Medium Term Note Program for Gulf Investment Corporation, a financial institution based in Kuwait and owned by GCC Government. The Group has 195 local branches, one branch in London, UK, one agency in Houston, USA and one representative office in Singapore. |
