The Group's principal activity is a wide range of banking and other financial services. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Banking/Trust, Securities and Financing. The Banking/Trust business includes banking, trust, credit guarantee and banking systems development. The Securities division is involved in securities brokerage. The Financing deals with credit cards, leasing, loans and venture capital. The Group has 19 consolidated subsidiaries in Japan and overseas.
