| The Group's principal activity is operating as an integrated chicken producer. The Group is a fully integrated broiler producer that breeds and rears its own livestock which feeds from its own feed mills, processes, distributes and markets fresh, frozen, value added and further processed chicken. The Group operates in the local retail, wholesale and food service channels with three brands: Rainbow, Farmer Brown, and Rainbow FoodSolutions. The Group also produce a variety of dealer-own brands for a number of retailers and wholesalers. Products include Crumbed, Viennas, Polonies, Frozen Crumbed Breast Fillets, Schnitzels, Cordon Bleu, Sliced Chicken in Traditional and Smoked flavours, Ready-to-Use Chicken Mayonnaise in Tangy, Chutney and Peri-Peri flavours. The Group has four processing plants located in North West, KwaZulu-Natal and Western. |
