The Group's Principal activities are generation, trading, transmission and supply of electricity and gas. The Group operates through six divisions. RWE Power division generates electricity from coal, nuclear fuel & gas and mines lignite. RWE Innogy division pools renewable energy activities. It includes onshore & offshore wind farms in Europe as well as hydroelectric power plants and biomass projects. RWE Dea produces gas and oil focusing on Europe and North America. RWE Supply & Trading segment runs energy trading operations & commercially optimizes non regulated gas activities. RWE energy provides electricity, gas, water and related services from a single source. It is responsible for sales & grid companies in twelve regions in and outside Germany. RWE npower generates electricity from coal, gas and oil and sells electricity and gas to end customers in the UK. The Group has operations in Europe, America, Asia, Australia and Africa.
