| The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objectives of the Group are to deliver long-term capital growth, while preserving shareholders' capital and to invest without the constraints of a formal benchmark, but to deliver for shareholders increases in capital value in excess of the relevant indices over time. The Group has been approved by the HM Revenue & Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Mar-2007. |
