The Group's principal activities are to develop, manufacture and market plastics specialities in the form of semi-finished products or finished products. The activities are carried through two divisions: Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products (QEPP) and Quadrant Plastic Products (QPC). The Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products manufactures semi-finished products made from engineering and high-performance plastics. The products include polyamide, polyacetal and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. The Quadrant Plastic Products manufactures Glass Mat Thermo- plastics, which is used primarily for the manufacturing of complex components for the automotive industry. The Group operates in Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia. During the year 2008, the Group acquired Global EPP Mexico S. A. de C. V (100%), Sydsvensk Plastbelaggning AB (100%) and Quadrant EPP Kaprolan Sp.z.o.o. (75%).
