| The Group's principal activity is to provide local and international fixed telephone, mobile, Internet, data and cable television services. The Group provides these services to home, business and corporate/government customers. The Group operates through two business segments: Wireless Services and Wireline Services. Under Wireless Services, the Group offers 3G (Third Generation mobile Telephony and Data) roaming services, TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio), DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcast-Handheld), Multi-Media and GPRS services. Under Wireline, the Group provides high-quality voice services, broadcast and On-Demand IPTV (TV delivered over high-speed connectivity to the Internet) and Internet access - all over one wireless ADSL line. The Group operates in the State of Qatar and other GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries. |
