The Group's principal activity is producing and distributing natural healthy food and beverage ingredients. It produces and sells extracted natural sweetener. The products are derived from Stevia (stevia rebaudiana) a plant native to Paraguay. The Group extracts Rebaudioside-A from the plant to produce a substance which tastes very similar to sugar, but which is 200 times sweeter, has a beneficial dietary effect and no calories. During 2008, the Group acquired the remaining 40% of Ganzhou Julong High-Tech Industry Company Ltd.
