The Group's principal activities are to produce, distribute and sell cables and systems for the energy and telecommunication sectors. It is organized in two business units: Energy Cables and Systems, offering submarine and terrestrial cables for electricity transmission and distribution, and Telecom cables and Systems, offering copper telecom cables and optical fibres and cables for video, data and voice transmission. Specializing in the development of products and systems designed on the basis of clients' specific requirements, the Group focuses on research and development, invention of new products and production processes, and the use of its own technologies. It has 53 plants in 21 countries, seven research & development centres and is present in 36 countries.
