The Group's principal activity is to provide a range of financial products and services. It operates in two division its Home Credit,Vanquis Bank divisions and Real Personal Finance. Home credit provides loans covering special event like a wedding or birthday, or to pay for a holiday, or to finance a car repair, a broken appliance or school uniforms. International operations comprise the country of Mexico and Romania. Vanquis bank issues credit cards allowing customers with no credit history or those who have had credit problems in the past and those on lower incomes who are often excluded from having a credit card. Real Personal Finance is an unsecured direct-repayment loan product, underwritten face to face in the customers home and collected by monthly direct debit and is a natural extension of home credit.
