Prestar Resources Berhad is engaged in the rental of properties, investment holding and indent activity. The principal activities of the subsidiaries are mainly manufacturing of steel related products. The Company operates in three segments: investment, which include investment holding, long term investment in quoted shares and property investment; trading, which include sales of hardware and steel related products, and manufacturing, which include manufacturing of steel related products. It subsidiaries include Prestar Steel Pipes Sdn Bhd, Prestar Precision Tube Sdn Bhd, Tashin Steel Sdn Bhd, Dai Dong Steel Sdn Bhd, Posco-MKPC Sdn Bhd, Prestar Steel (S) Pte Ltd, Prestar Engineering Sdn Bhd, Prestar Galvanising Sdn Bhd, Prestar Marketing Sdn Bhd, Tashin Hardware Sdn Bhd and Prestar Industries (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. In February 2013, its subsidiraies, Prestar Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. (PMSB) and Prestar Storage System Sdn. Bhd. (PSSSB) incorporated PT Prestar MHE.
