The Group's principal activity is exploring for, developing and producing oil and gas. It has produced 36,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd). As of 31-Dec-2008, the Group's oil and gas proven and probable booked reserves amount to 228 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe). The Group has oil and gas operations in the United Kingdom, Pakistan, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Mauritania, Gabon, Guinea, Bissau and Egypt.
