The Group's principal activity is investing in listed securities and money market deposits. At 23-Sep-2008, the Group holds 32.1 million (24.8%) shares in Housewares International Limited. It has also acquired by way of off-market takeover offer more than 90% of Just Group Limited. The Group operates a number of specialty retail fashion chains through its subsidiaries.
