The Group's principal activity is to grow and harvest timber and convert wood fiber into commodity, specialized wood products and bleached pulp products. The Group operates through four segments: Resource; Real Estate; and Wood Products. The Resource segment manages Group-owned timberlands and provides wood fiber to the manufacturing segments. The Wood products segment manufactures and markets lumber, plywood and particleboard. The Real Estate segment consist primarily of the sale of selected non-core timberland real estate. The Group operates in the United States and Canada.
