| The Group's principal activity is to grow and harvest timber and convert wood fiber into commodity, specialized wood products and bleached pulp products. The Group operates through four segments: Resource, Wood Products, Pulp and Paperboard and Consumer Products. The Resource segment manages Group-owned timberlands and provides wood fiber to the manufacturing segments. The Wood products segment manufactures and markets lumber, plywood and particleboard. The Pulp and Paperboard segment produces and markets bleached paperboard and bleached pulp. The Consumer Products segment produces and markets household tissue products. The Group operates in the United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, China, Italy, Korea, Taiwan and other countries. |
