The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Car Electronics, Home Electronics, Patent Licensing and other. Car Electronics division manufactures and sells car audio products and car navigation systems. Home Electronics division manufactures and sells audio/video equipment for home use. Patent Licensing division is engaged in the licensing of patents related to optical disc technology. Other operations include manufacture and sale of computer peripheral equipment, factory automation system, AV software, devices and parts. The principal markets for the Group is Japan, the United States of America, European countries and Southeast Asia. The Group's products are sold under its own brand name Pioneer. |
