| The Group's principal activities are to design and market branded dress shirts, sportswear and footwear. The Group operates through five segments: Wholesale, Wholesale sports wear, Retail Apparel, Retail Footwear and Calvin Klein Products. Wholesale segment markets dress shirts and sportswear. Retail apparel segment operates retail stores in the outlet channel of distribution, under the brand names Van Heusen, IZOD, Geoffrey Beene and Calvin Klein. The Retail Footwear segment sells footwear, apparel and accessories under the Bass brand name. The Calvin Klein division includes the licensing and advertising of the Calvin Klein Collection, ck Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein brands for a broad array of products and retail services. The Group markets its products through billboards, brochures, newspapers, magazines, radio, television and special promotional activities. On 02-Jan-2007, the Group acquired Superba Inc. |
